Cyclist claim

Cyclist knocked off and driven over by a turning car

A car turned into our client as they were riding their bike. The driver then drove over them and left the scene.

What happened

Our client was riding their pushbike when a car pulled up alongside them and turned into them. Their handlebar struck the car’s door, and the impact threw them towards the vehicle in front.

The driver then drove over our client and left the scene.

How we helped

Our client’s injury claim was handled by the solicitors at NJS Law, who pursued compensation on their behalf.

The outcome

NJS Law secured £20,000 in compensation for our client. Every claim is different, and the amount awarded depends on the circumstances of each case.

What if the driver doesn’t stop after hitting you?

You may still be able to claim. If the driver responsible can’t be traced, compensation may be available through the Motor Insurers’ Bureau, which handles claims involving untraced and uninsured drivers. Reporting the accident to the police as soon as possible is important.
