Passenger claim
Passenger injured when the driver lost control on a corner
Our client was a passenger when the driver took a corner wide, lost control and crashed into the barrier at the side of the road.
What happened
Our client was travelling as a passenger. As the car went round a corner, the driver took the bend too wide and lost control of the vehicle.
The car collided with the barrier at the side of the road, and our client was injured in the crash.
How we helped
Our client’s injury claim was handled by the solicitors at NJS Law, who pursued compensation on their behalf from the party responsible for the accident.
The outcome
NJS Law secured £15,000 in compensation for our client. Every claim is different, and the amount awarded depends on the circumstances of each case.
Can a passenger claim if their own driver caused the crash?
Yes. Passengers can usually claim against the insurance of the driver who caused the accident, even when that is the driver of the car they were travelling in. The claim is dealt with by the driver’s insurer.
